This is the first large modern classic tractor WIKING has ever made in 1:32!
The IHC 1455 XL miniaturised as standard tractor with all-wheel drive, which was once built in Neuss.
This type is one of the largest tractors built at the time by International Harvester.
It was IHCs response to the changing requirements in German agriculture, which required more horsepower and therefore larger and more powerful tractors.
The last IHC 1455XL was completed on 20 December 1996.
It was therefore the last tractor worldwide designed by International Harvester, and was built for a further eleven years after the merger with Case.
While the now revealed IHC has the classical grid radiator grille, the Case model of the last prototype generation is fitted with a flat front and dominating headlamps.
This guarantees attractive combinations from the period between the 1980s and 2000s, especially given the fact that the 1455 XL is still used on many farms today.
A large number of farmers simply do not want to let go of this classic, which has been serving them as a reliable companion for decades.
